Puligny-Montrachet 2016, Domaine Bzikot

Tasted blind in a flight of four wines in Puligny this first wine was obviously perlant. Not fizzy but with tiny spritz bubbles clinging to the glass. A fault in any white Burgundy. Initial nose of lime, lemon and green apple. Clearly a young wine. Fresh, balanced, citrus fruit and decent length. Not a Puligny to set the world on fire but decent enough. Scores 73/100. Accurately identified as a Puligny 2016. The vintage from the youthfulness and the slightly odd characteristics.
