Chablis 1er Cru “Butteaux” 2015, Thomas Pico Domaine Pattes Loup

This is the third wine tasted blind and like the first in the flight had some spritz in the glass which is a fault. Not good. Light yellow colour. First nose more like Riesling than Chardonnay: kerosene, lime. Very fresh and green. High acidity, lime and lemon flavours, pine sap, tart and short. I wasn’t impressed by this and thought it was a slightly unripe Pernand from the bright 2014 vintage. Compared to other 2015 Chablis this is a poor offering. Scores 71/100.
