Continuing the perusal of 2012s this Savigny from the venerable Meursault domaine Patrick Javillier is another positive proof point. Plum, cherry, very fruit driven. Bright and fresh. Sweet oak aromas. Touch of rye bread and bergamot. An enjoyable medium to light bodied wine dominated by cherry and red plum fruit. Easy to imbibe and perfectly well made... but no thrill factor. Scores 77/100.
