Saint-Aubin "Les Charmois" 2017, Paul Pillot

This Saint-Aubin from Domaine Paul Pillot was a stylistic outlier in the range of ripe-verging-on-plump 2017 white Burgundies offered by Justerini & Brooks. A nervous and green nose evokes daffodils and Granny Smith apples. There is sufficient fruit for interest and it is well made but not terribly engaging given the company it keeps. At £28.33 per bottle in bond one expects a little more pleasure.
