Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru “Sous Frétille” 2017, Remi Rollin

A second wine from the Rollin stable tasted at the Justerini & Brooks en primeur tasting. This white Pernand-Vergelesses premier cru combines rich citrus fruit with impressive length and vivacity. As with other 2017 whites it tends towards plump not svelte. Compared to the straight village quality wine one benefits from a certain additional finesse. Very enjoyable and decent value at £33 pb in bond from J&B.
