Willamette Valley “Strandline” Pinot Noir 2014, Harper Voit

This pinot from the remarkably energetic and creative Willamette Valley has a deep plum colour which is consistent and rich. Purringly soft nose of blueberry and blackberry. Complimented with vanilla and a caressing strawberry aroma. Medium-to-low tannin, medium acidity, round, fruit driven,  pleasant ruffled texture, rather voluptuous. An attractive wine which is impossible not to enjoy. Wears the 14.4% alcohol very well. Scores 80/100.
