Tasted at the annual Corney & Barrow Burgundy tasting, this Volnay 1er Cru is another impressive offering from Domaine Glantenay which was recently taken over by a brother and sister team. Elegant nose of raspberry and cherry. Promises to expand and further flatter the olfactory senses. Poised, juicy, lovely raspberry and strawberry flavours. Finishes on a tingly acidity. At £41.67 per bottle in bond this is not inexpensive but it merits the investment.
