Tasted in a flight of four wines offered en échantillon by Domaine de l’Arlot at the Corney & Barrow Burgundy tasting, this is an absolutely splendid pinot noir from the juicy 2017 vintage. A ripe plum and cherry bouquet translates into identical flavours on th palate. This monopole vineyard has produced a wine with a lovely texture, a truly fine wine which is already harmonious. Harmony is one of the trademarks of the successful 2017 vintage. It deserves the punchy £63.33 per bottle in bond.
