Bourgogne Blanc 2017, Domaine Matrot
Having recently popped several corks from Matrot bottles from 2008 to 2011 vintages I had become concerned about the wine-making as none of the wines had aged well. To the point that they were undrinkable. This Bourgogne chardonnay heralds a new dawn. Bright silver yellow colour, lovely pear and peach aromas which continue onto the palate. Very good.
