Saint-Véran 2015, Domaine des Deux Roches

As Pouilly-Fuissé inches closer to having premier cru status for 21 parcels, what does this mean for Saint-Véran? Probably nothing. Maybe something.... in a galaxy many years from now. Bright full yellow colour showing its youth. The nose starts on apple blossom (one must find an apple tree to sniff in that 5 to 10 day period when they are in blossom), apricot skin, orange, candied grapefruit. There is really charming ripe citrus and yellow stone fruit on the nose. Velvety mouthfeel, apricot and green melon flavour, ripe apple and good acidity. A lovely, quaffable wine with panache.
