Pommard "Les Riottes" 2009, Domaine Parigot

Located in Meloisey in the hautes cotes, this domaine produces good quality wine at reasonable prices. This 2009 Pommard has a rich cherry colour which is semi-transparent. A ripe cherry nose, plums, uncomplicated and fruit driven. Really good fruit concentration, mouth-filling, medium tanning, cherry and plum flavours, structured but not hefty. This is a forward, softer style of Pommard. Very enjoyable to drink my only critique is there is no excitement or strong personality. Photo shows Pommard vines in November 2017.
