Meursault Clos du Cromin 2013, Patrick Javillier

Tasted blind chez nous in Puligny, this wine had a medium light yellow colour, reflective, looked fairly young as no traces of bronze or darker yellow. A full, open nose which is fresh, lemon and citrus dominated. Ripe yellow fruits, pungent, vibrant and just a dab of oak. Really perfumed. On the palate this white Burgundy has dazzling, pure, ripe citrus fruit. Pleasantly tangy with medium plus acidity, linear and really, really delicious. I noted this as a Puligny 2013. So nailed the vintage but got the wrong village. Everyone who tried this wine was thrilled and wowed by the quality and sheer delectation. Photo shows Meursault in late June 2017.
