Chassagne-Montrachet "Les Benoîtes" 2015, Jean Chartron

This domaine needs no introduction given its high profile. The wines are produced in a charming, flattering style and do not require the imbiber to cogitate too hard on philosophical questions about the vinification process. This 2015 Chassagne was a joy to taste. Light silvery, hay colour. The bouquet is immediately open on white honey, honeysuckle, creaminess, it's a medium to full nose which is reminiscent of a warm summer afternoon in a meadow. Honeydew melon fresh pineapple, soft, plump, round, fruity and of course... quaffable. Definitely to be drunk now and captures the essence of the voluptuous 2015 vintage.
