Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Champs Gains" 2015, François Carillon

This Puligny premier cru shows additional richness compared to the Puligny village tried at the Corney & Barrow tasting. The ripe Chardonnay fruit translates into a softer style, apricot more than citrus with a touch of plumpness to it. Lovely but less attractive than the Puligny village.
