Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2015, Bachelet-Monnot
Plump, succulent and peachy this Bâtard-Montrachet from Domaine Bachelet-Monnot (who appear to not have a website hence the BBR link) oozes with rich Chardonnay fruit picked in a deliciously ripe vintage. Excellent full structure and a trifle-like multi-layered texture with vanilla, fruit and a soupçon of sponge finger. For palates who like their wines rich and unctuous this grand cru is for you. I've always been more of a Chevalier man myself. And surely it is best to be a knight than a bastard... Scores 86-90/100 which largely depends on the style of grand cru you prefer.
