Meursault "Les Grands Charrons" 2008, Guy Bocard

Good medium yellow, clear and reflective. Balsa wood, love heart sherbet, dried pineapple grating, touch of mango when oxygenated, unsalted butter. Raw pastry. Autumnal leaves in a good way. A faint bouquet. Beach pebbles. Fascinating but not impressive. Still excellent lemon, orange and apple fruit on the palate. Good length. Chalky and salty finish. Elegant. Given the wonderful evolution this scores 26/30 for a Meursault appellation. Big Sharons indeed!
