Montrachet Grand Cru 2011, Marquis de Laguiche

Since 1947, the Maison Joseph Drouhin has cultivated the vineyard and managed the vinification of 2 hectares of "Le Montrachet" owned by the Marquis de Laguiche. Important stat: the family of the Marquis de Laguiche and their ancestors have owned this parcel of grand cru since 1363. A small snifter of this nectar  in a big tasting room does not do the wine justice: pear, apple, vanills aromas; there is that magical element that only Le Montrachet offers. Lovely, fine, very fine, fine again, more subtle than powerful now. Too hard to assess quality due to its youth but of course it is very good!
