Meursault "Les Vireuls Dessous" 2009, Domaine Parigot

This village quality lieu dit is located on the hill above Meursault towards Auxey-Duresses, a great place for a walk if you have time. Lemon, oak, oak, rich, a bit blousy, too marked by the oak yet strangely lacking in structure. Recently bottled so this could evolve, but I usually find that too much oak when young also means too much oak when mature! On current showing (tasted at the domaine in April 2012) this scores 17/30 for the Meursault appellation.
