Meursault 2009, Michel Lafarge

Another wine tasted at the domaine, although this was most likely suffering from having been opened a few days before.... possibly a week. Initially we couldn't smell anything at all, there was no oak. Made with little batonnage, a touch of hazelnut emerges. A savoury style, apple fruit, oxidized. It would be inappropriate to score given the poor conditions under which this was tasted in Volnay.
