Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" 2008, Bachelet-Ramonet

A second Chassagne-Morgeot tasted at the domaine in April 2008 after the 2007 vintage. This is a glorious 2008 Chassagne blanc with aromas of pear, white peach and ripe lemon. On the palate, apricots, sweet, fresh, mineral, round, multi-dimensional, good fruit fat on the finish. Significantly more "fun" than the 2007 which was lean without being mineral. Further confirmation of the pleasures on offer from white 2008s.
