Meursault "Clos du Cromin" 2009, Patrick Javillier

This domaine, based in Meursault, makes consistently beautiful wines which are always appealing to drink. That's right, not just lovely to taste but incredibly drinkable. This Clos du Cromin 2009 is rounder and more open than the Meursault "Clos du Cromin" 2009 from Bitouzet-Prieur. Lemon-dominated but with more of a sugary sensation. Lemon, orange, lightly-pressed cherry juice flavours. Real layers of fruit. Fairly fat with a fresh mineral finish.
