Monthélie 2009, Denis Boussey

The vast majority of Monthélie is planted to pinot noir which is surprising given the proximity to Meursault. This is a Monthélie blanc and is a successful wine. White flowers, white peach, soft sweet lime tart finish. Lively, a touch salty on the finish. Imagine would be great with oysters or clams. Similar in style to a St Romain or possibly a Pernand-Vergelesses.
