Nuits-Saint-Georges 2009, Henri Gouges

This NSG 2009 is a little green, cranberry and rhubarb on the nose. A severe contrast with the sweeter pinots from neighbours like Robert Chevillon. Was this harvested too early in a year when picking early was a temptation to avoid over-ripe wines?
