Chambertin Grand Cru 2009, Trapet Père & Fils

This is the third Chambertin 2009 I tasted during London's annual Burgundy tastings having already dipped my nostrils into the offerings from Louis Remy and Rossignol-Trapet. A really rich, ripe fruit nose, almonds, inspiring. Power, silk, length, complexity, a structured finish. This Chambertin has all the elements to evolve into a stunning, complex wine in 10 years time. Tasted courtesy of the Corney & Barrow Burgundy 2009 tasting.
