Meursault "Le Limozin" 2007, Domaine Parigot

Everything changes with the vintage in Burgundy and the comparison between this 2007 Meursault and the 2008 Meursault from the same domaine tells you a lot. Initial boisé from about 30% new oak barrels announces an open nose of lemon and pear. Really nice fresh and ripe citrus fruits with a slight dose of nectarine. The style is very flattering and easy drinking. Excellent choice in a restaurant among younger vintages. Enjoyable and well-made. Photo shows the old monastic water mill on the road between Meursault and Auxey.
