Saint-Romain "Sous La Velle" 2007, Henri & Gilles Buisson

Saint-Romain is a in a spectacular, romantic location at the top of the valley behind Auxey-Duresses. The view from Saint-Romain Le Haut is wonderful. This bright white gold chardonnay has classic white Burgundy aromas of Cox apple, baked lemon, almond and acacia. Lively, fresh and mouth-filling, this Saint-Romain is a perfect companion for delicate white fish dishes such as grilled Dover sole or steamed cod. Created to be consumed and not obsessed about. Consistent with the Saint-Romain "Sous La Velle" 2005 from the same producer. Is nice.
