Saint-Romain 2006, Chateau de Puligny

Lemon, citrus, fresh, tangerine, sharp nectarine, quite full. This Saint Romain is aged in 25% new oak. The vineyards are in the shadows of the hills and forests of the hautes cotes around Saint-Romain. Combined with the altitude this means they are always the last to be harvested. Quality but doesn't express character.
