Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champ Canet" 2007, Etienne Sauzet

I tasted the 2001 and 2006 of the Champ Canet and it continues to impress although the style is more on power than the unique Burgundian minerality that I cherish. Ripe, round, orange and peach driven. This Puligny has real breadth and would sui posh people who want to impress other posh people with an unmistakable luxury wine. Despite the openness, wait until 2013 for the spice and the glory to crescendo.
