Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Embrazees" 2007, Bernard Morey

Continuing the tasting at the domaine in July this 1er Cru has much more to offer than the more fruit driven Santenay and Chassagne VV tasted earlier. Vanilla, oak, pineapple, apple sauce, vanilla yoghurt. This is a powerful almost scary wine that needs to joust with a manful lobster. Needs another 2 years to open up. A splendid, big, fiery Chassagne.
