Displaying a highly reflective, bright, white-gold colour, this 2006 Auxey blanc from Alain Gras smacks of green almonds, apple, galette des rois and orange pith. A soupcon of unripe apricot. Thick textured savoury stone fruit on the palate with medium acidity and a punchy finish. A cracking wine full of verve. Drinking perfectly now and has another 2 years to run.
