Saint-Véran 2007, Domaine Thibert

Tasted with the Cambridge University Blind Wine Tasting Team in preparation for the annual Varsity match against Oxford. Light silver, yellow. Faint aromas of white flower, plum blossom. Young, reticent, fruity. A tad closed. This is a fruit-driven wine, citrus, peach, tangerine. Medium register on all dimensions and not terribly expressive. Impressed that the Cambridge tasters spotted this as a Mâconnais.
