Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts" 2007, Bachelet-Monnot

Courtesy of the Justerini & Brooks Burgundy 2007 tasting. Another immensely enjoyable wine from the Bachelet frères... aromas of ripe apricots, white peach and cherry flesh. Excellent concentraton on the palate with incredibly pure fruit reflecting one assumes strict triage during the harvest. Attack and elegance complete this enticing Puligny. I am sure there are more fireworks to come from this pair of world-travelling wine makers.
