Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru "Les Boudets" 2007, Jean Grivot

Courtesy of the Justerini & Brooks Burgundy 2007 tasting. Radiant red purple colour with more depth than the Vosne 2007. Plums, strawberry, cooked rhubarb, almonds. Once imbibed there is more a sensation of structure (potent tannins and full acidity)than fruit which is held in the background. Clearly well-made and requires at least 7years to soften and combine.
