Meursault "Les Tillets" 2007, Patrick Javillier
Courtesy of the Justerini & Brooks Burgundy 2007 tasting. Patrick Javillier started making his own wines in 1990 and has approximately 9 hectares mostly lieu-dits in Meursault villages rather than premier cru. This Les Tillets is very concentrated without being over-ripe and retains a strong core of multi-layered lemon, tangerine and tagine-cooked lime aromas. This is fine and traditional Burgundy which leaves the imbiber with a statuesque impression. Comparable to premier cru quality. The Les Tillets 2006 was already showing well in December last year. The photo shows Madame Javillier who hosted the tasting in London.
