Courtesy of the Bibendum Burgundy tasting 2007. The
Domane Latour-Giraud produces a tantalising nine different Meursault wines which suggests a descente de cave would be a long and enjoyable afternoon. This is an outstanding Meursault in the 2007 vintage. Aromatic complexity already that layers hawthorn flowers, pebbles, oolong tea and garden mint with a wonderful texture, trapeze-artist balance, liquid lemon flavour and a great kick on the finish. Without a doubt one of the outstanding Meursault villages of the vintage. Photo caption: "Is this single malt or blended?"
