Meursault 1er Cru "Les Genevrières" 2007, François et Antoine Jobard

Courtesy of Bibendum Burgundy tasting 2007. This is an immensely appealing wine right from the outset. Fantastic mélange of pear, lemon and warm pebbles. Very, very pure fruit flavours. Length, brightness, ripe fruits, oyster shells on the beach. Restrained now but I'm sure will evolve into a supple and elegant Meursault. A distinctive and excellent wine.
