Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Cazetiers" 2007, Pascal Lachaux
Courtesy of the Bibendum Burgundy tasting 2007. The domaine Pascal Lachaux is the one of the growing number of micro-negoçiant businesses on the Côte d'Or. Pascal Lachaux's main business is Domaine Robert Arnoux and he buys in grapes from top vinewyards to make the Lachaux wines. The results are good... obvious quality, ripe red berries, cherry, spice and kindling twigs. Very slick on the palate. Designed to drink within 3-5 years. The only problem is the price.
