Bourgogne 2007, Vincent Dancer
Courtesy of the Justerini & Brooks Burgundy 2007 tasting. Bourgogne blanc can be tremendous value for money (unlike Bourgogne rouge) when bought from quality conscious producers in top villages. This bourgogne blanc from Vincent Dancer is a perfect example. Grassy aromas reminiscent of orchid-peppered Chiltern meadows, floral and mineral. Citrus fruit on the palate with patches of celery or even fennel. Photo shows meadow hay at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire.
