Good cherry red colour. Cassis, toasty, vanilla, black currant leaf. Pleasant berry aromas. Slightly tart, raspberry vanilla essence on mid-palate with medium tannins. Struggles to show ripe fruit and in that way suffers from the problem of 2004. Scores a
just decent. Tasted at Le Bouchon restaurant in Meursault which provides acceptable bourguignon nosh although the desserts are poor (by English standards).
