Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts" 2006, Etienne Sauzet

Reflective and bright pale hay yellow. Fruit-dominated aromas of citrus, green gauge and nectarine. A velvety texture combined with freshness, citrus fruit, concentration and length which will support long ageing and the development of complexity on the nose and good integration on the palate. This is classic Puligny yet at this stage is not showing as well as the comparable wine from Bachelet-Monnot. Both very well made and worth loading up on.
