Tasted blind by Rodolphe who picked it out as a 2004 from a minor appellation (good job!). Brassy yellow colour. Attractive nose of oak, almond and peaches. Ripe stone fruits. Fragrant without much punch. A hint of pineapple. Fresh citrus acidity, good peach and apple flavours, pleasant on the mid-palate although a tad heavy on the back palate. Oak is not yet integrated and the wine needs another year in bottle to get the balance right. Overall the wine is
Quite Nice.
