Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits 2004, Meo-Camuzet

Tasted blind courtesy of Cobbie and with the brilliant insights of David Wrigley MW guiding us in the wrong direction! Light yellow colour, mineral, apple, white strawberry, celery root, flinty. Fragrant and light aromas lacking attack or potency. Crisp steely acidity, good herbaceous and citrus fruit, dry palational sensation and intense acidity. Another excellent wine from the Meo-Camuzet stable and surely one of the better white Hautes-Cotes de Nuits made in 2004.
