Vosne-Romanee "Aux Reas" 2005, A-F Gros

Reflective medium red. Fairly closed then strawberry and wonderful blackberry and blueberry fruit. Mineral sensation on the palate. Rounded structure but with power. A class act in a broad style. Again made with 50% new oak: the ripe black fruit, good acidity and oak tannins will carry this wine forward for many years. Will peak in 2011 so there is no rush to drink it.
