Savigny-les-Beaune 2004, Rollin Pere & Fils

Bright, transparent, medium red. Dominant cherry wrapped with orange and red currant. Hint of vanilla from ageing in 20% new oak barrels with the rest being 1 or 2 years old. Very clear cherry fruit and an interesting rosemary flavour. Fairly long finish. Tasted at the domaine.
