Santenay 2004, Mestre Pere & Fils

Red slightly brown colour. The wine looks oxidized. Smells of oak, plum stones, fiery cherries. A little harsh. Alcohol too present and a slightly green edge to the fruit. Tasted at Domaine Mestre in Santenay, possible the wine had been open for too long before tasting.
