Saint-Romain 2005, Alain Gras

Light yellow. Citrus nose, fruit-driven with a only a hint of oak vanillins. Pear and light white honey aroma. Lovely pear and peach fruit on the palate. Rounded strucutre, soft and very approachable. Perfect match for a presse de lapereau au Chablis when tasted at La Clef de Voute in Beaune a new and innovative restaurant which I strongly recommend. The photo shows the chef who kindly shared his recipe.
