Saint-Aubin "La Pucelle" 2006, Roux Pere & Fils

Medium bright yellow and reflective. Restrained, peachy, flinty. Not showing much fruit yet on the nose. Glassy texture, good balance, fresh, slightly spicy (cinnamon). This Saint-Aubin promises a bright future given the fine fruit quality and fresh acidity. Tasted in a half-bottle so applying the Bevan-Chua scale a full bottle needs another 2.5 years to approach the plateau.

Tasted April 13, 2008. what a difference. And I would say that tis wine has progressed to being "Not Bad At All". What a difference 7 months make. Nice ripe fruit aromas and flavour, excellent balance. Pure joy to drink.
