Pale sliver-yellow colour, highly reflective. Pleasing peach, lemon and oak nose. Maintains the same notes in the glass over time. Oak is well-balanced with the fruit aromas suggesting a good evolution in the future. Tonnes of peach and pear fruit, savoury impact on the mid-palate from the mix of old and new oak barrels. Surprisingly rich for a village wine with a fat finish. Shows the concentration of the 2005 vintage. Benchmark white Burgundy. Perfect companion for fish or poultry dishes with cream sauces.
