Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune 2005, Rollin Pere & Fils

Bright cherry red colour. Opens on raspberry and strawberry. Made in stainless steel and therefore preserves all of the fruit which is clean and simple. Slightly rustic texture, fairly light bodied, tangy impression. 2005 is a great year to buy from these higher altitude vineyards due to the higher than average fruit ripeness. This is a good example.
