Cote de Beaune Villages 2005, Jean-Luc & Paul Aegerter
Medium cherry red and reflective. Initially faint neutral nose. Whiff of vanilla and a hint of date appear after aeration. On the palate good strawberry fruit/tannin blend. Oak grip on the cheeks and gums with a floury texture. Slightly rustic texture, flavours tangled not delineated. A simple honest wine to match boeuf bourgignon or a lamb, bacon and butter bean casserole.
